The selfie camera is 5 MP.

Samsung A10 features a snappy Exynos 7884B processor and has 2 GB of randomly accessible memory(RAM). Android 9(Pie) is the operating system and the user interface is Samsung’s own UI. Samsung is known for designing UI with rich user experiences so that’s probably a good thing.

Smartphones bear a battery of 3400mAh and that’s good enough for good android experience. However, there is no fingerprint unlock in the handset which is replaced by a face unlock. Meaning you’ll have to enter a password for unlocking the phone in the dark.

Bottom line is, Samsung Galaxy A10 is a cheap standard android mobile phone.

Redmi 8A

A Smartphone with many attractive features at an attractive cheap price.

Redmi 8A might be the cheapest on our list and it’s surprising it’s still made it. Sounds interesting, right? Well, stick to the story.

The front of the phone is covered by a 6.2” dot notch HD+ display. Mi provides its own user interface and the phone runs on OS Android Pie. While 2GB RAM, 32 GB isn’t the best, it’s quite sufficient if you consider Qualcomm Snapdragon 439.

The rear houses a 12MP AI camera and LED flash while the front camera is 8MP. AI face unlock is another feature of this cheap phone, but its goodness drowns out cause it replaces a Fingerprint sensor. Yeah, the fingerprint sensor is one compromise you make here.

5000mAh means there’s enough battery to last for days and USB C type charger refills it fast enough with a power of 10W.

Nokia 3.1 Plus for Cricket

Nokia 3.1.PNG

Nokia 3.1 Plus is really a phone that has the power to stop in your tracks and do research on it if you’re searching for a good phone under $200. While it’s no flagship, the less bloat experience and clean interface with a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chip and octa-core processor in the Cricket version is something you might not expect in a Smartphone costing $160.

The model has 2GB of random access memory and allows up to 32GB of internal storage while it’s expandable and has a dedicated micro SD slot.

Although the handset has extra spaces above and below the screen, the 5.99 inch IPS display is big enough to watch videos or play games and since the edges are curved in corners, it doesn’t look too bulky or too dated. Colour seems slightly washed and brighter when you compare it to its competitors such as Moto G7 and Samsung A10e who give more realistic video experiences. The model boasts of an 18:9 cinematic HD+ display.

If you ask me about the camera, I’ll have to say it’s not the best in this range. While there are a 13MP and 5MP rear cameras, and bokeh (portrait) mode is a bonus, there are other phones with better camera performances at the same price.

Another thing you should consider is that Nokia 3.1 Plus is not built for heavy games while it can easily run the light ones. USB type C charging slot means it’s always up and the slot and charging pin are stronger and durable.

Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a 3500mAh battery built to last for 2 days without the internet and an attractive polycarbonate with the aluminum frame back, which can be removed to find the Micro SD slots and SIM slots though the battery is user non-removable. Global versions outside of the USA have the metal back.

Though the model lacks any flashy features, it’s one of those phones you wanna buy for everyday use and smooth user experience with a cool look. Also, the phone is going to get probably two major software updates and security patches for the coming years and it makes it a good choice if you want to keep your phone for some time.

Please Note that Nokia 3.1 Plus for Cricket only supports AT&T’s network carriers in the US and is brought exclusively by HMD for Cricket. The global version is a little different and has MediaTek instead of Qualcomm and there are 3GB RAM variants available.

Nokia 3.1 Plus is placed at a relatively low price of &160.
